Enthusiast Gaming, the parent company of Luminosity Gaming, recently entered a partnership with the sportswear brand Champion. What makes this the right decision for Champion?
More non-endemic brands moving into the esports scene is something we have all been predicting for some time now. The best part about this partnership is that within the gaming industry, we do not necessarily have any fashion or clothing companies dedicated to gamers or players. Therefore, it is an open market for Champion.
In your opinion, what made Luminosity Gaming attractive to Champion?
I believe Luminosity is an excellent pick simply because they are not a large organization. It is far less risky for Champion, and sadly companies are still afraid to take that risk and lay down the required capital for more teams and organizations within esports. With Luminosity, they can quickly gauge how effective their marketing campaigns are while still risking minimal capital.
