Logan McLean, Esports Advisor, for NGame Esports talks about Razer’s commitment to esports.
Razer, a global gaming and hardware manufacturing giant, is committing $10 million over the next 12 months to fund the esports gaming community in Singapore. What do you think is Razer’s long term strategy for the Singapore market?
Razer’s founder is Singaporean, and it is only natural that an esports enthusiast is willing to invest part of his wealth towards his passion. This will further the development of an industry he is passionate about, and his company serves.
What does this say about Singapore and the commitment to esports?
I believe that involvement from executives like Min-Liang Tan will prove critical to the long term success of the industry. Proven successful businessmen and women that are passionate about the future of esports will act as vital conduits for development.
