Evan Tipton, Esports Advisor, for NGame Esports talks about the integration between StreamElements and Facebook Gaming.
StreamElements is now integrated with Facebook. This integration now allows users of Facebook Gaming to leverage StreamElements’ tools for streamers. How do you think this impacts Facebook’s ability to play in the esports space?
Streaming will always be the number one face for esports. Allowing almost no barrier to entry, this media outlet can help players careers take off on a whole new level. Facebook integrating their version of StreamLabs will help them break into the market and hopefully bring another market not tapped by the titans over at Twitch. Taking care of that base will be essential to Facebook’s success.
In your opinion, what is the best broadcast platform for streamers Twitch, YouTube, or Facebook?
In my opinion, the best broadcasting platform is Twitch.tv. There are too many restrictions and unspoken rules on the other platforms that deter people from maximizing the experience. Also, Twitch is the most well-known platform and is popular among the community, so it is harder for Youtube and Facebook to compete with them.
