British esports organisation, Excel, has unveiled its esports training facility, Excel HQ at England’s Rugby Union home, Twickenham Stadium. How can Excel leverage this to recruit and maintain good players?

Excel having their own facility will come to realize that this makes everything so much easier in the long run. Players always look for teams that will benefit them the most, and will help them grow into better players. By having a facility that provides top of the line equipment, and a strong practice setting will lure players to Excel.

When it comes to keeping players, you need to make sure that you are challenging them enough in practice and praising their victories. Seeing growth is the ultimate factor for esports athletes. By hosting events and tournaments at your stadium, you can help generate revenue for both parties, allowing for more attraction and possible recruitment for the future.

From your perspective what are some of the key benefits in having your own facility when scheduling practices and training for players?

As stated above, having your own facility will create an easier process in the long run. Creating scheduled times for your players and ease of access will help create these block schedules and regimented routines that esports athletes need in order to be the best. By partnering with sponsors and other teams you can host your own events utilizing your space in order to create more revenue, or possible prize money. When it comes down to it, the exposure and publicity it will bring to Excel will be worth the money spent.
